Looking for passionate and qualified applicants to be a part of our 10-month apprenticeship program! This program is geared towards emerging leaders who want experience impacting their community before transitioning to college or a meaningful career. This service term is full-time (42 hours/week) 10-month term and will run from Oct. 1, 2015-July 31, 2016. As a Public Ally, you would serve with an organization (such as a non-profit, school, or government agency) in your community! Public Allies receive non-profit management and leadership development training. Trainings are offered online and in-person (periodic overnight trainings at YCamp in Boone, IA). Public Allies also receive a $14,000 stipend for the 10-months, $5,730 for future college classes or qualified student loans, healthcare benefits, and childcare assistance.
